Dr. Kathleen Short Receives Excellence in Teaching Award

Dr. Kathleen Short, Assistant Teaching Professor in the Construction Management Program in the Department of Engineering Leadership and Society at Drexel University received the Region 1 Associated Schools of Construction Excellence in Teaching Award at the International conference held in Atlanta, April 20-23, 2022.

This award honors a faculty member’s contribution to construction education, excellence in teaching, service to the Associated Schools of Construction and dedication to the construction profession. Dr. Short was recognized for the work that she did to improve the rigor and content of courses in the Construction Management Program has leading to improved student satisfaction, as well as her efforts to support student organizations and engagement with the construction industry.

Region 1 Mid-Year Meeting

The ASC Region 1 Mid-Year Meeting is coming up on 20 May 2022. Drexel University will be hosting us, but there is also an option to attend online. University members should have received an electronic calendar invite that includes the address but also the Zoom link. If a member did not receive this and wants tot attend, contact Erik Backus.
